Feedback

From time to time, HateBusters receives feedback from people around the country whose lives have been touched in some way. As space and time permit, we will share some of that feedback with you. Here are some recent letters that made our day.

Steve Serrot, Associate Dean of Students at Coe College, thought I should tell you about a program we did this spring on his campus. Here’s what Steve said:

“It was a truly wonderful experience having you visit Coe, and everyone you spoke to was touched by your words. The administrators and students alike at Franklin Middle School and the YWCA were appreciative of your visit, and hopefully you sparked a few ‘Heroes in the Making’. Your program kicked off a very important initiative, uniting the middle school and the college. The Greek community was honored to have you speak as part of their Greek Education Series, and all students, faculty and staff who attended were warmed by your words. Thank you for touching the lives of so many in such a short time during your visit.”

From Professor Linda Bendorf, also at Coe College::

“I want to think you for your inspiring words during your visit to my Human Relations class. The students in this class are college juniors and seniors in teacher education. While these students have rich and varied experiences during the semester, excellent guest speakers , such as you, are the ones who really make an impact. I read their evaluations, and out of all of our speakers this semester—and they were excellent—you were tops. Your words and stories inspired them to believe in themselves and to work for a common good. You left them with these gifts.”

From Elise Tisdale, by e-mail

"Today, I stumbled across your webpage. And once again I found myself in tears, but they were good tears this time. I am filled with admiration for people who can put aside personal gain for the sakes of the masses. I hope to be one of those people. I may fail, but I will always fail spectacularly. It thrilled me to hear my own philosophy repeated back to me. You can expect my dollar in the mail. I also intend to tell my friends about your website. It's all about life. Thank you for doing it right."

Note: if you have a comment or question about one of our programs, presentations, reading materials, or whatever, please send it along! We want to hear from you!
